About Me
Jordan Austin is an eccentric, animal-loving illustrator specializing in expressive cartoon characters, animalistic concept art, and natural wildlife depiction~
Jordan Michelle Austin is a North Carolina-based freelance illustrator who loves drawing animals, both realistic and cartoons alike. She studied Visual Art while attending North Greenville University for a year before she transferred to the Rocky Mountain College of Art and Design, where she earned her BFA in Illustration. She has always been passionate about drawing ever since she was very young. Some of her favorite mediums to work in are graphite pencils, ink pens, colored pencils, and digital media through Procreate.

Jordan is inspired by the works of the renowned Aaron Blaise, the highly realistic paintings of Fuz Caforio, and the stylistic techniques of Culpeo-Fox. But most importantly, she is inspired by the timeless and most talented Creator in all of history’s existence, our one true God who ultimately designed life itself. Jordan strives to draw depictions of God’s beautiful creatures and enjoys being able to connect with people through mutual feelings through her work. Whether she is drawing more realistic animals or working on cartoon characters, she believes in the power of visual storytelling and aims to connect with her audience through the expressions she can depict or by the emotions a piece may be able to summon.

In her spare time, Jordan also loves to read books, listen to music, and often finds herself daydreaming or reminiscing on her beloved childhood memories. She loves anything involving nature and fantasy. She also has a twin sister of which she does nearly everything with, including the fun and spontaneous process of creating unique stories and characters together. Jordan and her sister, Jamie, can often be described as quite literally lost in their own worlds together.
